Liberty was abandoned at a local park. Although whoever dumped her clearly abused her, she wouldn't leave the spot where they dumped her, in case they came back. She loves belly rubs and affection, still gets a little nervous about sudden movements. But with patience and delicious chicken treats, she will be fully confidents and ready to be your best friend soon.
Ophelia was rescued by a good samaritan who unfortunately has a dog that doesn't like Ophelia (or doesn't want to share her family). She has been spayed, is HW positive so it will be 90 days at least before she is cleared for adoption. Another sweetie, her tufted feet and big brown eyes look like setter to us, which is great because namesake Jade was also a setter.
Humphrey and his sisters Lizbeth and Lana was found wandering along a busy highway. All three are named after film noir actors. Which is perfect because these rat terriers are DRAMATIC!
Same coloring and deep dark mysterious eyes as her namesake Lizbeth Scott, Lizbeth is the most outgoing of the three noir puppies.
Demure and mysterious Lana Turner..... she is the least hyper of the three puppies but that just means that she is a 10 and the other two go to eleven.
Jessie has been here a few months, her leg is healed, she has been spayed and is in right now for her last HW treatment. She will be clear for adoption in a month! Talk about blossoming. She has become a proud noble little girl, who will steal your heart (and your sandals) but will not destroy either.
Film noir pups having fun.
